Art Retreat in the Pyrenees

Well it’s now 2024 and I’m only just getting round to writing up about the wonderful art retreat we had last year in the French Pyrenees. Hosted by the fabulous Patsy at her elegant chalet in Aspet, we were spoilt with amazing food every evening. Thank you to all the ladies - and one gent - who came along.

We visited a mountain restaurant one day with an incredible view and painted first followed by a lovely dinner watching the sun go down. We also went on a day trip to a stunning mountain village to sketch and mooch about the cathedral and little cafes. We finished the week with special guests and live music at the Chalet and a little exhibition of all the paintings we had produced. It was a magical week
